Addons video’s
🧩 What Add-ons Do
Kodi add-ons enhance Kodi by adding new features or giving you access to extra content.
There are two main types:
1. Official Kodi Add-ons
These are approved by the Kodi team and available in the Kodi Add-on Repository (built into Kodi).
Examples include:
- YouTube – stream videos directly in Kodi
- Plex – access your Plex media library
- Twitch – watch live streams
- Subtitles add-ons – automatically download subtitles
2. Unofficial or Third-Party Add-ons
These are made by independent developers outside Kodi’s official repository.
They can add more streaming options, but some may access copyrighted material illegally, so you have to be careful — not all third-party add-ons are legal or safe.
⚙️ How Add-ons Work
You install them through Kodi’s Add-on Browser, or manually by adding a repository (a source URL) that hosts multiple add-ons.
Kodi Build Video’s
A custom skin or theme (to change the appearance and layout of Kodi)
- Preinstalled add-ons (for streaming movies, TV shows, sports, music, etc.)
- Predefined settings (so you don’t have to configure everything manually)
Essentially, a build bundles everything together so you can set up Kodi quickly instead of installing and configuring add-ons one by one.
